Our community is built on pride, connection, and a deep appreciation for the traditions and people who make Simonds special. Whether you graduated decades ago or just recently walked the halls, we believe once you’re a Seabee, you’re always part of the family. Our core mission is to celebrate the past while actively supporting the present. We work to keep alumni connected, informed, and engaged, while also giving back to the students, staff, and programs that continue to shape Simonds High School today. What We Do: We proudly support Simonds in many meaningful ways throughout the year: Keeping the community connected by raising awareness of events happening at Simonds and sharing news that matters to alumni. Supporting school fundraising efforts by partnering with initiatives that directly benefit students and programs. Caring for the staff who care for our students by hosting a breakfast for teachers twice a year and celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week with treats and surprises. Supporting student experiences such as providing a meal for drama students during their full dress rehearsal — helping fuel creativity on one of their biggest nights of the year. Investing in the future by offering scholarships that support graduating students as they take their next steps. Bringing people together through signature events like our massive Christmas vendor sale, which draws alumni, families, and community members together each year. Helping reunions thrive by advertising class reunions, providing the bar for reunion events, and supporting alumni celebrations of all kinds. Hosting social events including dances and gatherings that bring generations of Seabees back together. At our heart, we are about connection — honouring shared memories while creating new ones. We believe the Simonds legacy lives on through its people, and we are proud to play a role in strengthening that bond year after year. This group is open to ANY graduate of Simonds High School. As well, it is open to any staff member (teacher, custodian, office staff, etc.) of our extended Simonds family. We are looking to establish an active Alumni Committee and create an Executive who would be willing to spearhead events, fundraising and bring the community into our Simonds Family. We look forward to all of your support and hope that Simonds Pride will continue for many years to come.
